The story revolves around the protagonist Meghana who is in a state of confusion regarding her life. She is very lively and intelligent person and kind of average in studies except literature where she is very bright. 

The story actually starts with her birthday when she is thinking about her past. The next day Abhi purposes her and the flashback starts when she starts telling him about her past.

Meghana used to love a boy named Raghu. They were in a relationship for five years but everything changes when they seperate. She was completely devastated because she thought he would be the man of her life.  

Meanwhile her mother was very much eager for her daughter to get married and fixes a boy for her. What will happen next? Will she marry the boy chosen by her mother or will she listen to her heart? What if something else is waiting for her?Read the book to know better.

The author has beautifully presented Meghana's love story in the book. I could really feel very much connected to the story till the end. I liked the character development a lot. The young author's tremendous effort can be easily felt while reading the book. I found the story to be very realistic as stories like this can be seen in real life everywhere. There are some girls who are not even given rights to take their own decisions. Decision should be taken wisely because we live only once.
