We all have come across the story of the epic Ramayana someday or the other and we all love it. 

So when i got to know about this book I assumed it to be a mere retelling of Ramayana but it isn't. The book is the representation of the women during that time and how the five women Ahalya, Kaikeyi, Surpnakha, Mandodhiri, and Tara used their power to avenge and fight for themselves.

The best thing about the book is that it shows women power and this is really needed in today's date when women are unable to fight for themselves fully. These strong women will definitely set an example and I highly recommend everyone to read this and I am sure this book will definitely help them in some way or the other.

The way the author has described the characters and the incidents is very lively which made this book a page turner. The words are really easy to understand and being a mythology lover, I must say it's one of the best one.
