No it wasn't. You are going to experience lots of mysteries along with multiple twists and turns and trust me you are going to love the book. Reading the book I felt like I wish I could go on a adventure too. The tasks were really challenging and yes intriguing too. The way the author has penned down the book is really engaging. Though in initially I thought the story would be boring but as the story progressed it really made me hooked to the book. The flow of the sorry it's brilliant and lucid.
